District Created

Application for incorporation of the District was submitted to the Lawrence County Commissioners on the 11th of December 1962. On the 5th of March 1963 the District received its incorporation from the Lawrence County Commissioners. We are celebrating our 55th year of providing waste water services to our customers.

Monthly Board Meetings

Board meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month. They start at 7 P.M. and are held at our office. If you would like to attend please call 642-4870 so that we can plan for additional seats. Our meetings are held in a small conference room located at 3215 E Fairgrounds Loop, Spearfish, SD

SVSD Board

The board is made up of five members. Each member receives $100 a month to serve on the board. Current board members are: Terry Harris (President), Becca Schleusner (Clerk), – Mark Heltzer, Jamie Merkle, Jeff Flesner, and Dan Hughes. Head of maintenance- Jerry Johnson.
